Embrace the essence of island life and make every moment memorable. Bonus Resort was a real gem as it can only be booked through their Facebook page. It’s a hidden oasis in the middle of the famous walking street, only meters away from the beach.

Must-See Places:

  • Snorkeling at Sunrise Beach: Dive into the crystal-clear waters of Koh Lipe, where a vibrant underwater world awaits your exploration. The best part? It’s all yours to discover for free.
  • Sunset at Sunset Beach: As the sun paints the sky in hues of gold and pink, Sunset Beach becomes a canvas of pure enchantment. It’s the ideal spot to unwind and witness nature’s masterpiece.
  • Northpoint Beach: Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, Northpoint Beach is a hidden gem where tranquility reigns supreme. Soft sands and inviting waters invite you to unwind and rejuvenate. We recommend spending early mornings here, as there is no shade or come prepared with your own umbrella.

Krabi Budget Travel Tips

  • Prepare to be dazzled by Pad Thai Noodle with Soy Sauce, a local favorite priced at just $1.50 per meal. With each bite, you’ll embark on a culinary journey through the heart of Krabi. This is the cheapest place we could find and the food was just amazing!

  • Nestled amidst lush greenery, Pagi Pagi Villas offer a cozy haven for two at a mere $20 per night. It’s your chance to experience the perfect blend of serenity and convenience. The staff is super nice and will give you discounts on almost all activities in Krabi!

Must-See Places:

  • Mountain Buddha Temple: Ascend to a realm of spiritual serenity while soaking in panoramic views of Krabi’s breathtaking landscapes. It’s a moment of transcendence worth every step as you climb to the top. The views are absolutely breathtaking and definitely worth the climb. We highly recommend sunset!
  • Ao Nang Beach: Whether you’re lounging, swimming, or planning an island-hopping adventure, the pristine sands and azure waters of Ao Nang Beach beckon. And the best part? It’s all free.
  • Phang Nga Bay: Invest in a boat tour for $40 per person and be captivated by the dramatic limestone cliffs and emerald waters. It’s an excursion that promises awe-inspiring memories. However, we recommend opting out of the canoe tour, as you won’t see anything new and won’t be able to steer the canoe yourself.

Chiang Mai Budget Travel Tips

  • Delight in the delectable offerings at Chiang Mai Gate Market, where Gyoza dumplings are a steal at just $2.50 for 10. Each dumpling is a burst of flavor, offering a taste of local life with every bite. Don’t forget to try all the other food though 😉

  • At Bed and Terrace Guesthouse, comfortable and affordable rooms for two await at approximately $18 per night. After a day of adventures, this cozy retreat beckons you to relax and recharge. The community area is the prettiest and very relaxing. The view from the rooms is very nice, especially at the very top!
